CBT 2016 Diary - May 20th

We couldn't leave Beijing without visiting the one and only Tian An Men Square. With a total surface of 44 hectares, it is the world's largest square and it welcome hundreds of thousand visitors per day.

We spend our morning in the great Forbidden City, where the Emperor and his many concubines used to live.

We were very lucky to be able to share our lunch with an artist family at there house in the old Beijing and ended our journey in the capital with a trishaw tour of the Hutong area.

After 3 days of non-exhaustive visits, we realized how Beijing is a city with thousand faces, modern and traditional at once.
