Luckily the weather is with us today. Even though the sun was behind the could, at least it was not raining, letting us enjoy the visites of the day.

We start with a trip to the silk factory, where our students were not only able to discover how this noble fabric is made, but could also participate in the making of a double cocoon silk blanket.

A few gifts bought later, we continue our visit of Shanghai with a walk in the mandarin garden Yuyuan, in the old neighborhood of the city. Khoi fishes and dragon welcomed us in this two hectare house, where high officials of the Empire used to live.

At lunch, we get the chance to taste one of Shanghai most famous dish: Xiao Long Bao, little flavorful steamed buns with juicy meat in them ! If you haven't eaten these, you cannot say you went to Shanghai.

With full bellies, we finally head to Xitang, an old city in the suburbs of Hangzhou. We take a walk along a small river, in this traditional village full of small little shops but also, surprisingly, bars and club, already open at 3PM.
