CBA - THE BEGINNING

Chinese Business Association's adventure finally begins!

When we first arrived in EDHEC Business Schools, we were surprised by the association panel the school has. Surprisingly, none of them were related to China. This is how four of us - Laurence Cheung, Adrien Chen, Jessica Chan and Maxime Hu,- who didn't know each other at the first place, gathered to create this ambitious project: a new association that not only promotes Chinese culture, but also and most importantly Chinese Business. Unlike most Chinese associations who help international student in France, we wanted to help French students to know more about our mother country, which would make our project more open.

These two values - ambition and openness,- attracted three of our fellow classmates to join our team: Thomas Le Devéhat, Ludovic Henault and Antoine Lin. The seven of us built the project together and presented it to our school administration and on October 6th, 2015, we officially created the association.

After presenting our project to the student of EDHEC, we started our recruitments. Two weeks of interviews and deliberation passed and finally the team was complete. Jeremy Trieu-Duc, My-Linh Thieu, Yaqiu Li, Justin Bother, Julien Ferragu, Sihui Li, Mouna Sarih, Mounia Chemali, Zoe Qu, Louis Giraux, Cindy Li, Keyou Ni and Malik Kordjani. 20 students, 10 girls, 10 boys from different ages and differents nationalities.

20 ambitious and open souls who come together for the beginning of this great adventure that we will be happy to share with you on this blog, along with articles that our members will have written.

We hope that our project will inspire a lot of student to go beyond their abilities and that we will also learn a lot from this experience.
